The very first Sandbach ERFThis weekend I went to a show in Cheshire not knowing that it would be celebrating the 75th anniversary of ERF, in attendance were about 200 ERFs, along with other makes. The ERF shown was the first lorry built at Sandbach in 1933.

Thanks andrew. I repainted the ERF. At the end of 2006 it was all brush painted.I was a coach painter for 42 years and painted the truck after being made redundant. It was a real pleasure to work on it.

Any more of your work on the show circuit this year for me to take a picture of John? Might even meet you there?
All the best Andrew.

Thanks Andrew. I did some work for William Hunter at Tarleton. He might take some to shows this year. He has a big collection.

Look out for a Harry Hague Atkinson, and a Leyland Comet in William Hunter livery. Also a long nose Bedford at the shows.

So why don't you? I take it people must see your work and then your paint work gets seen at sites like this. One question no spraying I take only brush and roller, seen a J2 Bedford painted with a roller and it was really good.

No spraying. All done with a brush - I was a coach-painter for 42 years. Still got my original varnish brushes.
